Watch Niall Horan's 'Today' Show Concert Performance (VIDEOS)

Niall Horan performed “Slow Hands,” “Too Much To Ask” and “Flicker” on Thursday’s “Today” show. All three tracks appear on the singer’s debut solo album, which dropped earlier this month.

The former One Direction star released his highly-anticipated album “Flicker,” his first as a solo artist, just last week. “Flicker” is set to reach number one on next week’s Billboard 200 chart, and if it climbs to the top spot, Horan will become the third One Direction member to score a chart-topping album. Horan’s record follows Zayn Malik’s “Mind Of Mine,” which was released in 2016, and Harry Styles’ self-titled debut. Louis Tomlinson, Horan’s former bandmate, congratulated the star on the success of “Flicker.” He wrote on Twitter, “Congrats Niall on a great album. Lovely sound! @NiallOfficial. Go listen if you haven’t already!!”

As Gossip Cop reported, Horan announced a series of solo concerts called “Flicker Sessions 2017” in July. Kicking off in his native Ireland, the singer went on to perform in London, Stockholm, Sydney, Tokyo, Los Angeles and Mexico City. This month, he traveled to Rio de Janeiro, Philadelphia and New York City. And in November, he’s slated to stop off at a number of major cities in the U.S., including Boston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago and Miami. Of course, the Irish star has been nominated for “New Artist of The Year” at the 2017 American Music Awards, which take place towards the end of Horan’s tour.

This isn’t the first time the star has performed one of his new tracks on TV. As we reported, in addition to talking about his current dating life and global tour, Horan performed “Too Much To Ask” on a recent episode of the “Ellen DeGeneres Show.” Watch the video below of Horan’s “Today” show performance, live from the Rockefeller Plaza.
