Mark your calendars and set your DVRs! American Idol is making its comeback on Sunday, March 11, at its new home on the ABC Television Network.
Ryan announced the premiere date on Live With Kelly and Ryan on Monday, November 6.
Idol kicked off its nationwide search for the next superstar this past August. The Idol Bus traveled from Portland, Oregon, to Orlando, Florida, covering 23 cities across the country in search for talent. Rising stars were also able to submit audition videos online, as well as via social media using the hashtag #TheNextIdol and via a livestream platform.
As previously announced, Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie will judge this season, and, of course, our very own Ryan Seacrest will return to host.
