Ending youth homelessness with San Diego Youth Services

At San Diego Youth Services, we provide a home for homeless children and young adults, along with the tools and training they need to become self-sufficient and create a healthy path in life. We believe every child deserves to reach their full potential.

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the severity of San Diego County’s heartbreaking and invisible youth homeless problem. There are over 1,500 homeless youth on the streets of San Diego every day and that number is increasing during the pandemic.

Homeless youth often have horrific experience on the streets, including human trafficking, assault and sexual violence. They often struggle with their mental health and are unable to finish school or find a job to support themselves. These children and young adults are never given the opportunity for a bright, productive future that all children deserve.

Our dream is for every child to have a safe home in a safe community, free from gangs, drugs and violence. We will not stop until there are no more homeless children in San Diego. But we can’t do it alone, we need your help.
