San Diego Gulls Team Up With XTRA 1360 For Radio Broadcasts and Live Stream

iHeart Media San Diego and XTRA 1360 are the official radio partner of the San Diego Gulls. All San Diego Gulls games will be streamed live on the iHeartRadio app and some games will air live on XTRA 1360.

Professional hockey in San Diego has a rich history, dating to the San Diego Skyhawks of the Pacific Coast Hockey League in 1944. San Diego has been home to several professional teams and leagues through the years, including the aforementioned Skyhawks (1944- 50), Gulls of the Western Hockey League (1966-74), Mariners of the World Hockey Association (1974-77) and Pacific Hockey League (1977-78), Hawks of the PHL (1978-79), and Gulls of the International Hockey League (1990-95), West Coast Hockey League (1995- 03) and ECHL (2003-06). San Diego hockey teams have won six championships, including the 1948-49 PCHL Championship (Skyhawks), and WCHL Championships in 1995-96, 1996-97, 1997-98, 2000-01 and 2002-03 (Gulls).

On Jan. 29, 2015, the Anaheim Ducks announced that the club would purchase the Norfolk Admirals American Hockey League franchise and relocate it from Norfolk, Va., to San Diego, Calif. The Ducks joined affiliates from the Los Angeles Kings (Ontario Reign), San Jose Sharks (San Jose Barracuda), Calgary Flames (Stockton Heat) and Edmonton Oilers (Bakersfield Condors) as well as existing affiliates from the Dallas Stars (Texas Stars) and Colorado Avalanche (San Antonio Rampage) in the newly created AHL Pacific Division.
