Model Warns About Tanning Beds After Scary Experience

There are many stories about how tanning beds aren't very safe and now there's one more.

The latest scary tanning bed encounter comes from a 20-year-old British model named Ella Ravenscroft. Ella wrote on Facebook that she had to get four moles removed from her stomach, back and under her breasts because using a tanning bed caused them all to grow.

Ella posted photos of the moles and while they weren't cancerous yet, they likely were headed in that direction. She urged followers who tan to get their moles checked out and to stop using tanning beds.

The model is right to do so as well - studies have shown that people under the age of 25 who are exposed to frequent UV light have a higher risk of developing skin cancer later in life.
