Tuesday, October 2 on Jesse Lozano in the Morning

Happy Tuesday Star Listeners!  Here's what we covered on Jesse Lozano in the Morning today...

Clash of the Chromosomes Update: The Fellas pulled ahead to 7-2 today. It’s looking bleak for the ladies!

7am:  Teacher Armida vs Student Kevin Clements. Kevin took it away. Delana made a clerical error in awarding a point to young Kevin, and to wrap up he shouts out someone special to him. A love interest maybe?

8am: Jill Clark from Point Loma High called in to play against Dennis the Chief Research Officer for AVID.  Despite the age difference, they went into the tie breaker round and Dennis won.

Producer Shelly, who's living that single life, shared this list of why being single can help improve your life. Food for thought.  Check out the article in Time.

Good News Report:

6:50am We mentioned Serena Williams’ inspirational Instagram Post about Breast Cancer Awareness Month (see below), she commented "I’ve recorded a version of The Divinyls global hit “I Touch Myself” to remind women to self-check regularly._Yes, this put me out of my comfort zone, but I wanted to do it because it’s an issue that affects all women of all colors, all around the world. Early detection is key - it saves so many lives. I just hope this helps to remind women of that."

7:50am We celebrated a couple that survived the Vegas shooting one year ago. They decided to tie the knot to reclaim the day as one of love and growth.

8:50am We shared a story about Taylor Swift and her undying gratitude and service to her fans. Her donation made it possible for a child to receive a service dog, and later on down the line, invited the family to attend one of her concerts.
