Join Jersey Mike's for their Grand Re-Opening in Mission Valley

Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, will re-open in San Diego County on Wednesday, July 31, with a new look after a fire in a neighboring store caused water damage in May. To celebrate, franchise owner Cathy Brown will hold a grand re-opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, July 31 to Sunday, Aug. 4 to support the Eric Peredes Save-a-Life Foundation.

The restaurant, located at 8590 Rio San Diego Dr., is circulating 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to the Eric Peredes Save-a-Life Foundation. Customers must have a coupon to be eligible.

“This was our very first Jersey Mike’s location in San Diego and we are thrilled to open in time to celebrate our 10th anniversary in two weeks,” said Brown, who owns 7 of the 44 locations in San Diego County.

It is also the 10-year anniversary of Eric Peredes death. He was 15 years old and died from Sudden Cardiac Arrest.

“Eric’s parents, Hector and Rhina, are amazing people who are working to ensure no other family has to endure what they did,” said Brown. “We look forward to reconnecting with our neighbors, and hope everyone comes out to support this important organization.”

The Eric Peredes Save-a-Life Foundation holds six screenings each year. About 2,000 high school athletes and students attend each screening, and usually there are 5 to 10 teens that are found to have a serious issue. Please visit epsavealife.org for more information.
