Composed by Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda, “Bruno” incorporates elements of Columbian Cumbia and Hip Hop, as well as more hooks than in a single song from ABBA, making Bruno more musically complex and even more catchy than a typical Disney ditty.
Tati (Jesse & Tati Mornings) has watched the movie with her family and sings along to 'Bruno' when played on Star so it was an honor for her to chat live with Adassa who made her acting debut in the Disney animated feature Encanto as the voice of Dolores Madrigal. Adassa is also a happily married mother of 7 who takes her culture into her everyday life and is a proud afro-Colombian. She speaks of growing up a first generation Colombian-American as well as balancing the spotlight with her family and how the movie has directly aligned with her life.
