Staff members at Total Care are seen beating mentally disabled, 55-year-old Joey Carson.
The 2013 footage shows staff members pretending to give Carson food and laughing at him. Carson's lawyers released the tape to the public to help raise awareness about elder abuse.
There were other patients who were also interviewed by authorities, some had body bruises and black eyes.
Joey Carson has been transferred to a different care home and is said to be doing well.
Total Care's license has been revoked by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities and caretaker staff members including Shakia Smith were accused of abuse/neglect and battery of an elder person. The other staff members were accused of not reporting the abuse.
