The Animal Pad is a San Diego-based, non-profit, all breed dog rescue that is run completely by more than 40 volunteers. They focus on saving dogs from high-kill shelters and take all of the dogs that other rescue shelters won't take because their vet bills are too high.
All of the money The Animal Pad raises goes directly to caring for the dogs they take in, and now through August 31, 2022 they're holding an online auction fundraiser. The auction has a wide variety of items, including field level tickets to a Padres game with a baseball signed by Joe Musgrove, local getaways and events, gift cards and experiences, plus a 7- night stay in Maui! For the serious dog lover, there's also a TAPTastic Puppy Delight Package where the lucky winner will get to spend an ENTIRE HOUR with PUPPIES!
About The Animal Pad: We get our dogs vet care, place them in foster homes and then find them loving forever families. A few years ago, we turned our attention to the street dogs of Mexico as there is very little help for them. Since then, we have developed a large rescue network in Baja California that we focus on taking dogs from whenever funds allow.
