Toyota and Lexus has recalled 1.7 million cars worldwide for possible faulty Takata airbag actuators

1.3 million of those vehicles are in the United States. Last week, Ford Motors recalled almost 1 million cars in the US because of Takata airbags. This is really expensive for the car companies to have to deal with. Even Nissan and Honda had to deal with airbag fixes. To date, there have been about 290 injuries, 23 deaths caused by the faulty Toyota airbags which would rupture during crashes.
