Will Carol Baskin Be In "Tiger King" Season 2?

Netflix has secured the rights to produce a second season of the Tiger King, but it's not clear whether Joe Exotic's nemesis Carol Baskin, will participate.

Some outlets are reporting that Baskin is holding out for money - a seven figure sum (one million dollars or more), which she says is needed to keep her Big Cat Rescue facility afloat in Tampa.

On the flip side, it's also entirely possible that Baskin won't take part in the second season. She's been quoted as saying, "There is no amount of money that would cause me to trust the producers again after their sick betrayal of the animals and me,” she said. “I wasn’t paid the first time around, although several people have come forward saying they were paid. That violates the very nature of a documentary along with so many other things that were staged and taken out of context.”

Only time will tell which path Baskin takes, but The Sun has confirmed that Joe Exotic, Dillon Passage, and Jeff Lowe have vowed to return. Joe, who is serving a 22 year prison sentence for a murder-for-hire plot that could have taken Baskin's life, says he hopes to clear his name in the second season.

The Tiger King production is the least of Baskin's worries right now...

On August 6, Baskin made animal abuse accusations and spoke out against the use of tigers in Cardi B's WAP music video (shown below). The rapper clapped back with some shade of her own, commenting on Twitter "I’m not gonna engage with Carole Baskin on that. Like, that’s just ridiculous you know? Like, girl you killed your goddamn husband.”

On August 10, the family of Baskin's former husband Don Lewis revived the investigation into his death and they're offering $100,000 in exchange for information to help solve the case. Many people believe that Baskin is responsible for Lewis' death, so if new information and evidence are presented to investigators, things could get very bad for Baskin.
