NOMINATION LETTER:

Mr. Kelly is a spunky, energetic math teacher at Challenger Middle School in Mira Mesa. Middle school can be a scary place but Mr. Kelly would make you think that he is at the happiest place on Earth. He deserves to be recognized as a Classroom Hero because of his dynamic teaching style that keeps his students engaged, focused and interested in learning. I met Mr. Kelly at Back to School Night last week and could immediately see why my daughter is so fond of him and his class. As parents walked in, he stood at the front of the class wearing a bow tie and holding a microphone prepared to WOW us. My daughter had said to me, “Mom, he sounds like a game show host! It’s exciting to be in his class. He makes math fun!”. Likewise, he made Back to School Night fun. Teachers like Mr. Kelly are very special. He truly deserves to be recognized for all his hard work and dedication to his students. Mr. Kelly is a Classroom Hero!
