Royal Wedding: Sheku Kanneh-Mason & His Siblings

Sheku Kanneh-Mason was already a rising star in the UK before he played at the Royal Wedding this weekend.  Before he won our hearts playing his cello for Prince Harry's union to Meghan Markle, he had already won the distinguished BBC Young Musician competition at age 16...He was the first black winner in the competition's history.  Earlier this year, Sheku released his 1st album, "Inspiration," which quickly topped the UK Classical Chart.  And, astonishingly, it also made it into the Top 20 on the UK's Pop Chart...thanks to his rendition of Bob Marley's "No Woman, No Cry."   Ironically, he was supposed to make the trip across the pond to perform in Los Angeles this weekend before Los Angeles-native Meghan Markle personally called him to ask if he'd stay in the UK to perform at her wedding.  Of course, he said yes.

And as unique as Sheku is, it may surprise you that he's got six siblings who are just as unique & talented as he is.  Ranging from age 8 to 21, the Kanneh-Mason siblings--which also include Isata, Braimah, Konya, Jeneba, Aminata, and Mariatu--are all talented classical musicians on the rise.  Some of the siblings even performed at the BAFTAS this year--Britain's version of the Oscars.

Watch the talented siblings & their parents--Stuart & Kadie--share their story in the CBS Sunday Morning video below...
