The driver of a truck that was about to be impounded pulled out a rifle and began firing at police during a traffic stop.

Crazy scene in Riverside yesterday. i know this freeway well. It's always chaotic. Add this scene into the mix and what a nightmare. Sucks that we lost a CHP officer. He was just trying to do his job.
