Am I Playing With Fire?

I partied all weekend. I mean, I was downtown at a few bars and clubs, I went to a restaurant with a bar, I went to Mexico with a bunch of drinkers and I ended up letting Antonio bring his beers into my house. Am I playing with fire here? I did not partake, nor will I. But, am I flirting with disaster?

I like going out. I like it when people have fun. I have fun on my own just watching people get loaded. It's kind of funny actually. It's almost like my superpower! I am a sober person who can drive if I want to, talk to a police officer if I want to...all that kind of stuff you can't or shouldn't do when you're blotto. thrashed, hammered.

Friday night was super fun because we go to celebrate Emily's birthday with a bar crawl. Antonio and I couldn't get there til the very last stop because I worked til 7pm and the crawl started at 5:30pm! haha. So when we got to Nassan's at The Pendry everyone was having the best time and feeling happy. I felt the love. Especially from all the people on The Show on 105.3. Sky, Eddie and Emily are the best. I didn't see Thor.

Eddie was very happy. haha. His wife is adorable. They are all adorable and I just love Emily and Robert.

Here's a pic of where we ate after the birthday festivities. The rest of them went home. Antonio and I were just getting going haha.

So lots of drinking there. No biggie. I can deal. Then on Saturday, Evan had a retreat in Julian so I decided to take a trip over the border with Antonio. Before we crossed the border, I just had to try one of those highly sought after Popeye's Chicken Sandwiches. It was my third time trying to acquire one of these supposed delicacies. Got 'em!!!

Ok. Full disclosure. I liked it, BUT Chik-Fil- A still wins the chicken sandwich war, in my opinion. Oh and there were mad people in there, too, because the Voodoo Chicken Strips weren't available. I almost saw a fight. Pretty exciting.

Then, Antonio and I crossed the border to spend the day and night at his place (Actually "Ray's) place where he rents a pretty sweet room. Great view. Lots of windows and a bar. These boys can drink. And they do it a lot. I'm not judging. And, I am not tempted to drink with them at all. I'm just getting the feeling that I shouldn't be putting myself in this kind of situation as much as I do lately.

We drove down to Rosarito because I wanted to buy some pretty pots for my newly remodeled patio. THANK YOU LINDA AND ANTONIO!!!!! I don't have a daytime picture of it, dangit. I will show you next week for sure. We found some but Antonio insisted that I check TJ for a better price. So we hung out in Rosarito for awhile longer and then went back to TJ.

Well, guess what? We never did find the pretty pot I wanted, but I found a super cool cross. I collect crosses and religious art I just love it.

Anyway, Sunday we went home and took Evan to Phil's BBQ. The best. It was PACKED but we managed to get into the bar area...again with the bar!

I really truly like Antonio, like a lot, but I don't know if he is right for me. It's not everyday you find someone who makes you breakfast in bed or dinner for you and your daughter or cleans your garage. He's awesome. I just am confused as to what to do about the drinking part. Nothing, I guess. It's his life and I choose to be a part of it.

Oh, by the way, talked to Charlie last night for like an hour. He's doing great. He wants someone to come visit him so bad, but we gotta pay the rent and Christmas is coming so he'll be home soon enough. I miss my baby boy.

On a final note, OMG LINDA!!!!!!! Look what she got Annie and David from my all time favorite show 90-Day-Fiance to do for me! AMAZING!!! I feel like I've made it! hahahaha

See you next week, Diary.
