Sorry It's Been Awhile.

Dear Diary,

I have had the worst writer's block so that's why I haven't checked in lately. That, and the "y" key on my laptop is broken so it's not easy to type. And, I don't have very many cool pix to share with you. Wow. I sound like Debbie Downer. I'm not, though. I'm in a pretty good headspace lately.

Just got home from mom's house last night. It was soul and body nourishing. She is magic to me. She is everything, even though I don't see her as often as I should. She fed us so much food. Both Ev and I were lamenting how bloated and heavy we felt on the ride home. I ate breakfast bagel sandwiches, pigs in a blanket, sour gummy bears, rice and meat, broccoli and cake! That was within 12 hours. I'm going to pay for that big-time.

My brother came out from Glendale to come see the girls, mainly, then my mom and then me...in that order. He loves his nieces and nephews. It's so cute. He looks great. We aren't the closest of siblings anymore, which is sad. It's been strained since my father died and that was 20 years ago. Do you want to see the most awkward picture of two siblings. Here is it.

We look so stiff! Haha. I love him no matter what, though. And, yes, he's tall, 6'5'. Look at this pic he took with my ma!

She looks so tiny.

Since the three weeks I haven't written a Diary entry, I've done some cool things: I went to SoFi Stadium in LA to see the Chargers and the Pats. Super rad stadium. I went with Pickle Rick. It was on Halloween!

We got on the Jumbotron! That means I have been on two Jumbotrons on two coasts in one month. The other one was at Fenway.

Halloween weekend was super fun. I went to Manhattan in La Jolla with Jodie, Penny and Linda.

Ev and I were strapped down last weekend filling out the FAFSA and the CSS for college financial help. That thing made me want to cry. It did, in fact, make Evan cry out of sheer frustration. She has been so stressed about college apps and these dang forms, not to mention her homework load and she's in rehearsal everyday after school for Frozen. She's Anna! I'll let you know how and when you can see it!

Evan went to NYC to look at schools with her step-mom. This picture makes me feel like she's going to be just fine if she ends up on the East Coast. She looks at home already.

Since I've checked in with you, my La Jolla Cosmetic ad has aired on various stations this last month. I almost died and went to heaven when I saw the ad during 90-Day Fiancé. I truly felt like I had made it. Haha.

I recorded this off of the TV. The water you hear in the background is my turtle's filter.

I've been trying to sneak in some "me" time so I won't go completely bonkers with all that's going on. I went to Aqua Day spa last week and I am still hurting from the vicious scrubbing and knot-kneading those women did to me. It's a good hurt, though. I'm not joking when I tell you that the women, dressed in black bras and panties, scrub your naked body in every crease and fold. And, then they take a giant bucket of hot water and throw it on you when you're not expecting it. I'm making this sound bad, but I enjoyed it. Something very freeing and vulnerable about being naked in front of other women. You can't really hide anything!

I've also been doing masks and stuff. It helps.

Oh, Charlie comes home next week! I cannot even wait. He's like my dad in a lot of ways. I can call him and talk for hours, just like i used to do with my dad back. They even look alike!

Finally, I need to do something about my diet. It is comprised of white rice, sour gummy bears and Red Bull. I'm going to spontaneously combust or melt into a plastic pile or something bad.

Wait...I need to ask you...do you like these two outfits? One is a casual running-errands deal and the other one I copied from a magazine ad. The ad looked a lot better.

As Jeff once said, my knee looks like Osama bin Laden's face.

See you soon, Diary.
