I Am So Tired...But Grateful!

Dear Diary, Well this weekend was PACKED! First, Antonio Banderas and I went to Wonderfront this weekend and we had a great time! We saw Tony Hawk skate which was really cool, like surprisingly cool! He is super tall and, of course, super talented! After that we saw Suicidal Tendencies, which I so didn't want to see, but Antonio wanted to, so we stayed. I was shocked at how entertaining it was. Those dudes were jumping all over the stage and the lead singer jumped into the crowd. I've never seen that before.

I got stuck in the mosh pit for a minute and that scared me a little bit. I was wearing flip flops so, yah, not a good situation. Here are some pics. I look like a ghost in this pic because I was feeling car sick after our Uber ride. Ugh. Oh, yah, we saw a little bit of X, too.

Just a fun fact, Antonio likes to bring a fake mustache wherever her goes. He thinks it makes him look like a "real Mexican." His words, not mine! And, yes, he chose to wear that hat. No comment.

Saturday night, my podcast husband, Erik and I went to our friend Melissa's birthday party at The Henry in Coronado. We had such fun. We had fish & chips and they were delicious! Melissa has a brand new website called www.dreambelievelove.com.

This is a wonderful organization that Melissa has created and it really gives back to the community. Please check it out. The prices are so reasonable and they make the perfect holiday gifts! I am in one of the pictures on the front. So excited!!

Erik, Linda and I have our Tuesday podcast ready to go and I know you're going to love it! We play 10 Questions and Make Me Laugh...you guys are going to love it! Later this week, I have a very special Thanksgiving podcast that I hope will inspire and enlighten you. I'm really excited (and a little nervous) to share my story with all of you.

I want to thank each and every one of you who have tuned in to listen to Laura Cain After Dark. Radio has been a passion of mine my entire life and I can't even think about doing anything else. All of you who have listened and liked and shared and commented about my podcast has made me so happy. Please feel free to email me with any comments, ideas or suggestions at lauracainad@gmail.com

I, along with so many of you, have so much to be thankful and grateful for. Please have a happy and safe holiday and cherish those who are in your life.

Love and be kind to one another. Happy Thanksgiving.

Until next week, Diary.
