Beyonce sings in Spanish, English and French on a remix of J. Balvin and Willy William's "Mi Gente," which means "my people" in Spanish.
The surprise single was released on Thursday night and in the English verse on "Mi Gente," Beyonce sings, "lift up your people, from Texas, Puerto Rico, dem islands to Mexico."
The star also announced on her website that she will be donating her portion of the proceeds to hurricane relief efforts, offering funds for those affected by hurricanes in the Caribbean and earthquakes in Mexico. Her website also encourages fans to contribute to fundraising sites and helping victims of the Mexican earthquakes, Hurricanes Maria and Irma in the Caribbean and Florida, and Hurricane Harvey in her native Texas.
