Rafiki is our pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 4 year old, 15 pound, male, Domestic Short Hair cat.
Rafiki is an African word that means “Friend.” He was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the Friends of County Animal Shelters program. Since his arrival, he’s been staying in the home of a trained foster care volunteer. Rafiki is very social. It might take him a little while to settle in to his new home, but after that he will be a friend for life.
The $100 adoption fee for Rafiki includes medical exam, neuter, up to date vaccinations, and registered microchip. For information about Adoption by Appointment or to become a Virtual Foster log on to www.SDpets.org.
Nick Adamo is a huge dog lover and animal advocate. He started partnering with Rancho Coastal Humane Society two years ago because RCHS’ main goal is to encourage adoption of animals into permanent, loving homes. RCHS’ adoption process is tailored to find the best match between people and pets and also promote humane ideals through education and community outreach pets and people. Nick is proud to support Rancho Coastal Humane Society and all that they do for animals.
