The first of its kind, Kindness Fest is coming to San Diego! Kindness Fest is a fundraiser to support the rehabilitation of women that have fallen victim to human trafficking. The volunteers hosting this festival are largely comprised of women that have made the transition out of human trafficking and into society. These ladies are examples of what is possible when our community works together to provide support and provoke change.
This event is happening during national Kindness Week and will be held on November 16, 2019 from 3 – 9pm at The Social Garden, located at 1021 S. Coast Hwy Oceanside, CA 92054.
Kindness Fest is a micro festival showcasing award winning local bands, visual artists, and holistic providers who are coming together to support survivors of human trafficking. Proceeds from Kindness Fest will go to supporting a new safe house providing comprehensive care and career development for victims of human trafficking.
Your ticket purchase or donation will help save lives from further abuse and trauma. As well a portion of the funds go to The Velvet Tent Project, a multi-agency nonprofit collective of survivor leaders who are dedicated to eradicating exploitation.
