Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl halftime performance was widely adored by musicians and viewers, highlighted by powerful vocals, sparkling outfits, pyrotechnics and some high-wire stunts.
However, some fans thought Gaga’s acrobatics seemed a bit too familiar, tweeting at P!nk to let her know the pop icon stole her signature move.

P!nk, on the other hand, responded quickly to shut down the backlash. She posted on Instagram Monday (Feb. 6) to “squash this before it even has a chance to become a thing.” She continued to discredit herself as the founder of mid-air soaring, citing that Cirque du Soleil and Peter Pan have “been in the air for years!”
Lastly, she urged her fans to focus on more important issues going on in the country.
