Study: Drinking Coffee May Lower Death Risk

Another study shows higher coffee consumption is associated with lower risk of death.  Spanish researchers studied food questionnaires from more than 19,000 people with an average age of 37 and followed them for around 10 years.  Results show people who drank at least four cups of coffee each day had a 64% lower risk of death than those who never drank coffee.

Authors say overall, there was a 25% lower risk of death for every 2 additional cups of coffee per day, with the greatest benefit for folks 45 and older.
