Playboy Breaking Ground With First Ever Transgender Playmate

The first issue of Playboy to hit news stands following the death of founder Hugh Hefner will feature a first in the 64-year history of the iconic magazine, a transgender playmate. 26-year-old Ines Rau will pose fully nude in the November/December 2017 issue.

Rau has been featured in Playboy before, as have other transgender models, but she is the first to be a Playmate and be featured in the centerfold.

So far the response has been mostly negative. People are not happy with the decision and many are posting negative and disparaging comments on the Instagram post announcing Rau''s feature.

Despite making history, Rau will not be on the cover of the magazine. That honor goes to the late Hugh Hefner.
