Meghan Markle is officially becoming a part of the royal family when she and Prince Harry say "I do" at St. George's Chapel in Windsor, England on May 19th. But before Meghan met Harry, before she became an actress, she was a teenage student at an all-girls private high school in Los Angeles, Immaculate Heart High School where she was known as a compassionate, strong-willed, and excellent student.

In case you were wondering what Meghan was like as a high school student, take a look at one some of her high school teachers have said of her:

Christine Knudsen, Meghan's Former Homeroom Advisor told the LA Times: "Meghan was the kind of student who, even though she had a circle of friends, she was friendly and welcome to everyone. Everyone liked her, even if they weren't her close friends." She added, "We were proud of her before she was dating Prince Harry. We know what she's bringing to the relationship."

Gigi Perreau, Meghan's Former Drama Teacher told Inside Edition: "You see someone nice to the other kids, who gets good grades, doesn’t say anything bad about anybody."

Maria Polia, Meghan's Former Teacher/Mentor told CNN: "She was also a very unusually compassionate person, and developed that compassion quite early in her life."
