Everything You Need To Know About Disneyland's Reopening

Disneyland is just weeks away from reopening on April 30 after the COVID-19 pandemic caused it to remain closed since March 2020.

When Disneyland and California Adventure both reopen, only California residents will be allowed to visit in groups no larger than 3 households.

The parks will also have enhanced health and safety measures, meaning your next visit to the happiest place on earth won't look like it did pre-pandemic.

Both theme parks will be limited to a 15% capacity in compliance with California guidelines.

Because of limited capacities, ticket holders will also need to make theme park reservations.

Once you have a valid theme park admission, you will receive access to the theme park reservation system where you can select the day and theme park you plan on visiting.

Many ticket expiration dates were extended to accommodate those who bought tickets before the park shut down.

The theme park reservation system opens at 8:00 A.M. PT on April 12.

People who already have a theme park ticket can check for available dates starting on April 9, according to the DisneyParks Blog.

In addition to a valid admission ticket and theme park reservation, guests ages 2 and up will need a face mask, even those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. Masks must be worn at all times except while actively eating or drinking.
