279 Properties Up For Auction In San Diego County, Here's How To Register

San Diego County is holding another online property auction, the county's Treasurer-Tax Collector Dan McAllister announced on Thursday, April 15.

The last online property auction was in March, reports CBS8.

The bidder registration opened on Thursday for the reoffer which features 279 properties.

"We don't want anyone to miss this opportunity to buy property, especially timeshares that all start at $100," McAllister told CBS8. "It's an easy way to own a slice of beautiful San Diego County."

The deadline to register as a bidder is on May 6. You can sign up on the Treasurer-Tax Collector's tax sale website, sdttc.mytaxsale.com.

Those who wish to participate must submit a refundable deposit of $1,000 and a non-refundable $35 processing fee. However, some parcels require a larger deposit, according to CBS8.

The online auction will run from May 14 to 19. It will include 265 timeshares, an improved property, and 13 parcels of unimproved land.

The properties were left over from the initial auction in March, where 231 parcels were purchased for a total of $1.3 million.

We're excited that this online auction can reach bidders worldwide," said McAllister. "During our March auction, we saw buyers from across the nation including California, Nevada, New York, Texas, Washington, and other states."
