SUV Strikes Two People On Scooters In Downtown San Diego

Two people on scooters were struck by a car on Monday, July 5, according to City News Service (CNS).

The crash happened on Monday morning when the two people on the scooters were struck by a white Ford SUV.

According to authorities, the SUV fled the scene immediately after the incident.

The crash happened at 4:07 A.M. in the area of Market and 13th streets in downtown San Diego.

A watch commander at the San Diego Police Department told CNS that the two people riding the scooters suffered serious injuries and paramedics rushed them to a nearby hospital.

There is no information reported on the person behind the wheel of the SUV.

The only information came from sources at the scene. They told CNS that the SUV may have sustained front-end damages during the crash.
