To celebrate the German delicacy this year, here are the best places to get a hot dog in San Diego according to Yelp:

Instead of a regular bun, these Korean hot dogs are deep-fried and put on a stick. You can choose from a unique array of fillings like mozzarella cheese, squid ink, rice cake, potato, and more.

Daddy's Hot Dogs

This San Diego hole-in-the-wall hot dog joint has glowing reviews on Yelp. With cheap prices and great flavors, their menu features classic dogs like the "Manhattan" and specialty hot dogs like The "O" which comes with bacon, grilled onions, jalapeno relish, Russian dressing & tomatoes.

Barrio Dogg

Barrio Dogg blends the German delicacy with "Chicano comfort food" for an extensive menu featuring hot dogs like the El Vaquero which has slow-simmered Chile con Carne, Salsa Verde, cotija cheese, and more delicious ingredients.

Dog Haus Biergarten San Diego

Dog Haus will be offering free dogs to anyone who uses the Dog Haus app to purchase food in-store, pickup, or delivery.

"Dog Haus creates hand-crafted hormone- and antibiotic-free hot dogs, sausages, burgers, plant-based proteins, and one Bad Mutha Clucka, all served on King's Hawaiian rolls," writes the owner Henry L. on their Yelp page.

If you want to try their Hebrew National Hot Dogs, you'll have to head over at lunchtime. Go Dog Go is only open from 11:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. from Tuesday to Friday.
