Demi Bagby, a local CrossFit athlete, and bodybuilder pulled off what is probably the most impressive “first pitch” in MLB history.
The San Diego Padres had the fitness influencer throw out the first pitch and she definitely made it her own.
The 20-year-old threw out the first pitch at the Padres vs. the Colorado Rockies game on Friday, July 30.
Before throwing the pitch, Bagby pulled off a flawless backflip and followed it up with an impressive split.
Fans were so impressed by Bagby's pitch that they're calling it one of the greatest first pitches of all time.
"The girl that threw out the first pitch tonight in San Diego ABSOLUTLEY KILLED IT," tweeted MLB Analyst Ben Verlander.
"I can't really imagine a first pitch getting better than this. Maybe if Simone Biles goes for a full set before throwing out her own first pitch?" wrote the Big Lead's Liam McKeone. "Or perhaps if another gymnast does one of those series of insane backsprings from the bullpen to the mound. That would top it."
