A brand new Chick-fil-A is expected open up in Spring Valley next month.
Amber Thomas, a San Diego resident since 2004, will own and operate the store.
Thomas says she has worked for the chain in some capacity since she was 17 years old.
In a company statement, Thomas says “Chick-fil-A not only holds a special place in my heart, but my family’s hearts too."
Chick-fil-A plans to donate $25,000 to Feeding America in honor of the grand opening.
The Sweetwater Road location opens for business on July 7th.
