James Blunt may not be ... well, James Blunt any longer. The "You're Beautiful" singer took to his social media to announce that he vows to legally change his name if the 20th anniversary of his 2004 debut Back To Bedlam album goes to No. 1 on the charts.

In a video, Blunt explains, "I'm re-releasing my debut album Back To Bedlam on October 11th. Something that has kept me consistently rich for the past 20 years. So as a way to give back to you, my adoring public... If Back To Bedlam re-enters the charts at number one, I will legally change my name. What will I change it to? Well, that's entirely up to you."

He added, "it's safe to say this is the most important democratic moment of the year. My name is James Blunt. And you have the power to absolutely f*** my life."

And in the PSA's caption, James re-iterated, "Wanna ruin my life? If the 20th Anniversary Edition of my album 'Back To Bedlam' re-enters the charts at number 1, I will legally change my name - to whatever you guys decide. Comment on this post below with suggestions for my name change, or like someone else’s comment to vote. The comment with the most likes on this post across my social media profiles on 11th October - when the album is released - wins. And then the race to number 1 begins!"

Blunt's 20th anniversary of Back To Bedlam comes out on October 11th — so, if you want to rename this English treasure, mark your calendar! Back To Bedlam included hits like "You're Beautiful" and "Goodbye My Lover."
