13-Thousand Grocery workers in San Diego are preparing for a strike. Talks began again Wednesday with representatives from United Food and Commercial Workers Union and Supermarkets.
Workers for Vons, Albertsons, Pavilions and Ralphs are asking for better pay and working conditions.
Negotiations have been ongoing for four months, according to a union spokesperson. The workers' contract expired on March 2. A three year contract was approved in 2022 after a threatened strike.
Talks are expected to continue through Friday.
