Kelly Clarkson is potentially eyeing a "shift" amid the demands of her talk show.

A source told People that the "Stronger" singer is considering the future of The Kelly Clarkson Show. The show has run more than 1,000 episodes since its premiere in September 2019 and even followed Clarkson as she moved to New York City with her children, 9-year-old son Remington "Remy" Alexander and 10-year-old daughter River Rose, whom she shares with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.

"After her divorce, she wanted to focus on balance and not burnout," the source said, adding that the talk show "gives her stability and time with her kids."

However, the energy spent on Clarkson's talk show eats up a lot of her time, so she may look for a change soon.

"Daytime TV is still demanding. She's thinking that she might need a shift next year when her contract is up," the source said, adding, "She very much loves music though and would love to create new music."

No decisions have been made yet, though, so devotees of The Kelly Clarkson Show and her popular Kellyoke segment shouldn't fret too much.

"She still has time to figure out what's best for her career and family," the source said. "She was never one to rush into things."

Earlier this month, Clarkson was forced to cancel the first night of her Las Vegas residency at the last minute, telling fans how "devastated" she was to postpone after rehearsals had "taken a toll" on her voice. A source later told Page Six that Clarkson was "on thin ice" as she has come "incredibly close" to needing surgery on her vocal cords in the past.
