How Much To Park In Balboa Park?

The San Diego City Council will consider paid parking across Balboa Park and surrounding streets Monday afternoon.

Under the new rate structure, visitors could pay anywhere from five to fifteen dollars per say, depending on the location of the lot.

The Council will also look at installing parking meters on streets, where visitors would pay $2.50 an hour.

The most expensive places to park would be easy access lots, like those right near the Air and Space Museum, which would charge the daily rate of $15.

San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria has recommended a three level plan with the price based on location in the park.
