9-year-old Boy was Robbed at Gunpoint While Selling Lemonade at a Stand

Authorities in Union County, North Carolina, are looking for a male teenager who was wearing a camo hat and black shirt that robbed a 9-year-old while he was selling organic lemonade at this stand near the traffic roundabout on Johns Forest Lane in Monroe. The man pointed a handgun to the kid's stomach and made off with his cash box. The was about less than $20 in cash in that box.

Deputies later found a camo hat, black BB handgun, and a metal box in the woods nearby. DNA and fingerprint tests are being done in hopes to find the robber. Local residents were asked to check their surveillance cameras for clues which may help authorities find the man.

The crime didn't deter the boy, he moved his lemonade stand to the nearby community pool the following day. The boy is working to save up enough money to buy a riding lawnmower. The local Lowe's heard about this and decided to donate one to him!
