Maia (My-uh) is up for adoption at the Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s an (almost) 5-year old Boxer mix with a brindle coat, who weighs about 40 pounds.
Maia was a puppy when she was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from another shelter through the Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS) program. She was adopted and spent several 4-1/2 years in her home until her adopters returned her a few months ago. Now she needs a fresh start with an experienced dog owner who will continue her training.
The $145 adoption fee for Maia includes medical exams, vaccinations, spay, registered microchip, and a free one-year license if her new home is within the jurisdictions controlled by San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services.
