Bellini: Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet of the Week – 8-9-2023

Breed:           Domestic Short Hair with a Black and White coat

Bellini is a 1-year-old, 8-pound, female, Domestic short hair cat with a black and white coat. She was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS).

At first, she spent her time hiding in her enclosure. After a couple days, she began greeting people by rolling over onto her back and purring. Now she’s ready for a new home. She can live with older kids and other cats. 

The $100 adoption fee for Bellini includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, and registered microchip.

Join Rancho Coastal Humane Society for NBC /Telemundo Clear The Shelters 2023. This “adopt and donate” campaign runs through August 31st. Here are four RCHS pet adoption programs that reduce fees.

  • Better with a Buddy – Adopt one cat, kitten, or dog and get the second one (within a year) for just $25. Does not apply to puppies.
  • Two Purr One – Adopt two kittens (within two weeks) and pay for just one.
  • Senior-to-Senior – Any senior (60+) adopting a senior animal (7+) will have the adoption fee waived.
  • Pets for Patriots – Fees waived for San Diego veterans. To qualify, apply before visiting the shelter.

RCHS will have an adoption special during the last weekend of Clear the Shelters, Saturday and Sunday, August 26th and 27th. There will be discounted adoption fees for adult dogs and cats (6 months and older) and all rabbits. (This does not include puppies or kittens, 6 months of age or younger.)
