15 Great Whites Swim at So. California Beach
Paddle-boarders in the waters off Capistrano Beach in Dana Point, California, got the scare of their lives on Wednesday. While they were enjoying their sessions, the Orange County Sheriff's Department announced from a helicopter that at least 15 great white sharks had been spotted in the area and advised the boarders to calmly exit the water. San Onofre [pr. Oh-no-free] State Beach in San Clemente, where there was a shark attack two weeks ago, received a similar warning. Experts says that the young sharks are being drawn to the coastline by the warm waters and a large supply of food.
Erin Andrews retweeted: Police in California warn paddleboarders to exit the water in a "calm manner" as they are "next to approximately 15 great white sharks <http://pic.twitter.com/f04k0zHpvC>."
