SAN DIEGO, CA – San Diego’s favorite St. Patrick’s Day tradition is back! The 29th Annual ShamROCK
Music + Beer Festival will transform the Gaslamp Quarter into a sea of green on Saturday, March 15,2025, from 2 PM to 10 PM, with live music, Irish fare, and endless revelry. Heading back to its roots, this iconic celebration transforms the Gaslamp into the Emerald Isle of the West Coast, featuring a full lineup of top Irish and Celtic rock bands, iconic tribute performances, Irish dancers galore, and all the lucky libations and shenanigans you can handle!
New for 2025, the festival introduces ShamROCK After Dark from 8 PM to 10 PM, dimming the lights and cranking up the beats for nighttime merriment unlike ever before.
A True Irish Celebration
Grab your fellow leprechauns, don your green attire, and get ready for an authentic Irish experience. As the longest-running festival in the Gaslamp Quarter, ShamROCK combines the humble jest and rowdy cheer of Ireland with San Diego’s signature west coast charm, offering more Irish fare, lucky libations, and outrageous shenanigans than ever before. From traditional Irish brews and whiskey cocktails to hearty pub-style cuisine, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Live Music, Dancing, and Shenanigans Galore
The festival features two stages of live entertainment, showcasing the best Irish and Celtic rock bands, iconic tribute acts, and energetic DJs to keep the crowd moving. Marvel at the rhythm and precision of Irish dancers, or dive into lighthearted fun at the ShamROCK Shenanigans Block, featuring games like Jenga, Cornhole, and Unicorn Races. A cheeky ShamROCK leprechaun emcee will keep the mischief alive with contests that test both wit and brawn. As the sun sets, ShamROCK After Dark takes over from 8 PM to 10 PM, dimming the lights and cranking up the beats for an electrifying end to the evening.

General Admission tickets start at $39, granting access to the full lineup of live music, games, and
festivities. For an elevated experience, opt for the Premium package at $59 or go all out with the VIP experience starting at $89, which includes perks like expedited entry, commemorative keepsakes, drinkdiscounts at the Lucky Leprechaun VIP Irish Pub, and access to all three stages. Supporting a Cause Close to Home
Beyond the revelry, ShamROCK supports the Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation (GQHF), a non-profit dedicated to preserving the architectural and cultural heritage of the Gaslamp Quarter. Proceeds from the festival help fund efforts to maintain San Diego’s history at the Gaslamp Museum, housed in the city’s oldest building, the Davis-Horton House.
