Adopt a pet in San Diego: Rescue dogs and cats up for adoption are featured in partnership with the Rancho Coastal Humane Society animal shelter.
Buns is a 1-1/2 year old, 9-1/2 pound, female, Domestic Short Hair cat with a Calico coat.
Buns gets very excited when the care providers bring her a bowl of wet food. She has definite opinions about how she wants to be handled. For example, she enjoys when someone pets her on her head and ears. That doesn’t mean she wants you to pick her up and carry her around. You should also know that Buns is very sensitive about her tummy. Before you touch her tummy, make sure it’s okay with her.
She has some pretty strong opinions about other cats. When she meets another cat, she wants a slow introduction at her own pace.
As part of our weekly PET ADOPTION WEEKLY SEGMENT (PAWS), we're hoping you or someone you know will be interested in making Buns a part of the family. Learn more about Buns. PAWS is brought to you by Nick Adamo’s Farmer’s Insurance Agency.
The $100 adoption fee for Buns includes medical exam, vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org.Kennels and Cattery open 11 AM to 5 PM every day except Tuesday.
