The death of Liam Payne has left fans and peers in mourning, including Harry Styles' mother, Anne Twist.
Following the news of Payne's tragic and untimely death, Anne took to Instagram to share her reaction to the news of her son's former bandmate, posting the heartbreak emoji, and writing along with it, "Just a boy ... 💔."
Tributes to Liam have been pouring in through social media from peers including Paris Hilton, Zedd, Shawn Mendes, Ty Dolla Sign, Juicy J, Flavor Flav, Charlie Puth and more.
One Direction's longtime hair stylist, Lou Teasdale, also shared following the sad news, "sending you all so much love."
According to TMZ, the former One Direction singer apparently fell from his hotel room balcony, which was on the fourth floor at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel, and it is unknown if this "was intentional or accidental." TMZ also reports that, according to witnesses, the fall happened just after 5pm in Buenos Aires and that "Liam had been acting erratic in the hotel lobby earlier in the day," smashing his laptop and had to "be carried back to his room."
Payne was just 31 years old, and leaves behind his seven-year-old son Bear, who he shares with ex Cheryl Cole.
