Kesha attributes her glowing skin to this one Korean beauty "trick."
The "Die Young" hitmaker appeared on the July 7 episode of "Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky" on iHeartRadio and zoomed in on the skincare trend that has her skin looking and feeling better than ever!
Lewinsky told Kesha that after giving birth, some women keep the placenta and have it injected into their skin to promote a more youthful appearance. The podcast host told the "Take It Off" sensation that she has not tried that, and has also not tried salmon sperm facial treatments.
"I put the salmon DNA in my face," Kesha explained, to which Lewinsky replied, "Well, your skin is gorgeous." Kesha credited her bright, beautiful skin to the viral beauty trend, saying, "Thank you. I can thank the salmon sperm. It's like a Korean trick."
People mentioned that Kesha isn't the first celebrity to open up about their experience with salmon sperm.
Miley Cyrus commented on the popular facials earlier this year, revealing that they taste strange but feel amazing.
"Tastes strange, but my skin looks good. I didn't mean to drink it. It's just like a whole mask. I never met the salmon. It came pre-packaged. I don't even know if it is what it says it is. I don't know, but I do feel like my skin's looking good."
Last September, Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery founder Dr. Gabriel Chiu informed Variety that the treatment "improved elasticity, reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, increased skin hydration and improved healing capabilities of the skin from damage like acne scars and UV exposure."
