Additional vote centers have opened across San Diego County for this year's special election, giving local voters the opportunity to cast their ballots at any of 68 locations countywide.
County vote centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day through Monday, while hours will expand to 7 a.m. through 8 p.m. on Election Day.
Voters can find the location nearest to them by clicking here.
While most voters will be tasked solely with deciding Proposition 50, which aims to redraw California's congressional maps, residents living in Poway's Council District 2 will also be voting on whether to recall City Councilmember Tony Blain.
Along with being able to vote in person, drop off a mail-in ballot, or vote by using a ballot marking device, residents may register to vote, or update their voter registration at vote centers.
Residents were reminded that campaigning within 100 feet of a vote center or official ballot box is not allowed, which includes making visible or audible displays, or circulating petitions.
