A fundraiser is planned to help Grant Gebler who suffered a sudden hemorrhagic stroke in November. Grant had emergency brain surgery, and was on life support is fighting his way back. The magnitude of the stroke and subsequent brain bleed and swelling caused a severe brain injury. Grant has beaten the odds already, however, with limited vision and paralysis of the left side of his body, he has a long road to recovery.
Grant is the owner of the Full Metal Burgers food truck, and his family and friends have come together to help Grant continue his recovery. The event is scheduled for Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Black Plague Brewery on 2550 Jason Court in Oceanside. From 12noon - 8pm enjoy an awesome car show, epic burgers, beer and live music. There will also be an opportunity to win cool prizes from a raffle drawing.
We understand not everyone has the ability to contribute financially and do not want any of Grant’s community to feel obligated. Any prayers, well-wishes, good vibes, or other forms of support are humbly and graciously appreciated as well.
Feel free to share the information for those local to Oceanside to grab a burger and beer and some live music for the upcoming fundraiser event on 1/16/22 at Black Plague Brewery.
The funds will assist Grant in obtaining items not covered by insurance, adaptive equipment, and therapies to support him in the best possible healing towards independence.
