Breed:           Shepherd mix

Portobello is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 9-month-old, 62-pound, male, Shepherd mix.

Portobello was born at a rescue in the Imperial Valley. He and his 5 siblings were transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS.)

He’s a typical, adolescent puppy who needs a patient family to begin his new life. 

The $145 adoption fee for Portobello includes medical exam, neuter, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if his new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society.

Meet adoptable dogs currently living in foster care when the new “Scenthound” dog grooming service in Carmel Valley hosts their first Foster Adoption Event on Sunday, July 9th from 10 AM to 1 PM.  

Scenthound grooming and wellness is now open at 3840 Valley Centre Drive in Piazza Carmel in Carmel Valley. Meet foster dogs from your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. These are dogs who you won’t meet at the shelter while they are living with trained, foster care volunteers.
