Bagel is a 4-year-old, 55-pound, female, Pit Bull mix.

Her Report Card describes Bagel as “a pawsome Pitty, ready to leave a paw print on your heart.”

She loves people. Bagel needs an active and understanding family that will help her bloom into a calm and confident canine companion. 

Bagel was transferred to Ranch Coastal Humane Society from a crowded shelter partner through FOCAS – Friends of County Animal Shelters. 

The $145 adoption fee for Bagel includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if her home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society.

After a two-year hiatus during a construction project, Animal Camp is back at Rancho Coastal Humane Society!

Spring Animal Camp at Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas runs March 24 – 28 and March 31 – April 4 from 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday.

Animal Camp focuses on children 6 – 12 years old. Animal Camp is an educational experience that includes hands-on interaction with animals as well as Arts, Crafts, and outdoor activities.
