Dean Alan Sharp first fell under the spell of fine homes while working as a young carpenter in Beverly Hills, California. Loving the hands on nature of the trades but longing for greater architectural influence launched Dean’s career along parallel paths of Custom Home Building and Architectural Design in exclusive West Los Angeles neighborhoods from the Hollywood Hills to Malibu. In the age of fast-food and fast-homes he counts himself fortunate to have honed his craft in one of few remaining niche professions where fine craftsmanship and creative expression are celebrated.

Christina “Tina” Sharp is House Whisperer co-founder, co-owner, and an accredited and certified Interior Designer. Born and raised in Southern California, Tina earned her design degree from the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. If Dean tends to work from the architecture inward then Tina thrives on creating from the interiors out. She has a tenacious passion for immersing herself in every detail in order to create “environments that stir and soothe the soul.” “Every room in a home is an opportunity to do art that real people get to live real life inside of. There’s nothing more satisfying than to see clients’ daily lives change as they expand into and inhabit a previously neglected space.”
Dean’s deep respect is also no secret. “It’s more than I could ever ask to be blessed with such a true friend and soul mate, but Tina is also perhaps the most purely instinctive artist I know. It’s simple, she is a master of color and texture. I’m constantly in awe of her and I trust her senses more than anyone’s, often including my own.”
Dean and Tina Sharp design houses throughout the country but spend most of their time happily at play in Southern California where they do their part to save and savor the world. They’ve built for themselves a little house and a simple life overflowing with good friends, good food, good dogs, some chickens, some bees, and a whole lotta love.
