'My Favorite Murder' Celebrates Major Milestone With 500th Episode

My Favorite Murder has reached an impressive milestone.

Nearly 10 years after its debut, the popular true crime comedy podcast, hosted by Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark, put out its 500th episode. That's 500 episodes breaking down some of the most compelling crimes and untold stories with the hosts unique brand of commentary.

For episode 500, titled Knot for Naught, the pair covered the "straight up true crime story" of the lost women of Highway 20, six victims whose lives were either "torn apart" or were tragically stolen from them by a "psychopathic man [...] presumed to be responsible," as well as the Hollywood Bling Ring, a group of teenagers and young adults who broke into the homes of several celebrities, including Paris Hilton, in 2008 and 2009.

Kilgariff and Hardstark have been sharing "compelling true crimes and hometown stories from friends and listeners" since My Favorite Murder first launched in January 2016, such as stories about "infamous serial killers like the Night Stalker, mysterious cold cases, captivating cults, incredible survivor stories and important events from history like the Tulsa race massacre of 1921," according to the podcast description.
